We provide scholastic materials such as school uniforms, shoes, school bags, books, pens, pencils, sanitary pads, etc. to all the children supported by the organization. We also plan of supporting the families of all children supported by the organization with some household items such as mosquito nets, toothpaste, and soap. This puts them in a better position to take their children to school and provide a conducive environment for children when they come back from school. Hunger is a problem for school-going kids from vulnerable families and it hurts their progress in school. So, we plan on providing them with a daily meal ranging from breakfast, lunch and this makes their life in school easier and better.
We empower the girlchild by educating them about menstrual health, dangers of teenage pregnancies and early marriages and how to avoid them, the advantages of going to school, dangers of gender-based violence and gender equality. All these helps me to raise responsible future mothers which help to curb or reduce the number of single mothers in the society. It also helps to raise girls who can be focal points for societal changes by occupying bigger positions and humanitarian organizations such as United nations, politics where they can get involved in decision making process that can affect the society positively.
Through our slogan “protect environment, protect life”, we offer environmental protection education to our children and the society at large where we teach them about the dangers of environmental degradations and the different measures of protecting our environment. We teach them the disadvantages of cutting down trees and we encourage them t plant more trees, not disposing off chemical containing wastes into water bodies, encouraging volunteer ships to clean up the communities and following the three “R” i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to conserve natural resources and encouraging use of paper bags rather than polythene bags for shopping. All this helps help us to curb and reduces incidences of climate change which s affecting everyone on the planet and it is United Nations and other environmental protection organizations’ number one concern.
We help pregnant women, nursing mothers, and vulnerable children get good nutrition and our nutrition programs focus on poor families and children. Malnutrition leads to stunted growth, wasting, or being overweight, in children which in turn damages a child’s learning and cognition. Malnutrition accounts for almost half of the deaths of children below 5. How we help :- 1. Providing supplementary foods to poor families, undernourished children, and vulnerable people which helps them to boost their nutrition. 2. Educating mothers on the importance of breastfeeding. We encourage mothers to breastfeed their newborn babies. This helps newborn babies to get proper nutrition at the most critical stage of their lives. 3. Educating mothers on good feeding and care practices. This helps to ensure their children get the proper nutrition for healthy development.
