Ishak community organization is a fully registered community-based organization currently operating in eastern Uganda majorly jinja district and the nearby districts of Iganga,Namutumba and Kamuli . We offer education support, medical care, housing, health education, feeding to disadvantaged children in the society such as the orphans, street children, abandoned children and children from extremely poor backgrounds far. The organization so far has more than 10 children who have been taken back to school by the little contributions from the team members and a few volunteers. we ensure good health and good sanitation in the community by providing health education, organizing health camps with in communities, education the girl child about menstrual health and hygiene and providing sanitary towels. We educate children in schools about the transmission and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS, fighting teenage pregnancies and early marriages and reduction on the rate of school dropout among the children. We also aim at improving on every one’s welfare by proving food, offering nutritional education and offering food security education among the community members on the different ways to improve on food production within the communities and combat hunger which is the cause of most of the African health problems such a malnutrition. Widows and old are catered for in basic needs for a living and many have benefited
